The past week has been busy with consultations regarding my future in service to the community. After receiving a great deal of encouragement I have decided to follow my original game plan. Prior to Representative Elsenheimer's first surprise announcement I was considering running for a county office. Now that he is running for the House seat I will be running for Charlevoix County Commissioner representing district 6. As many of you know, during the past six months I have been attending County meetings and studying the county's budget. In the next few days I will release a statement with my reasons for running and what I hope to accomplish.
